Abstract:Objective To explore the influence of magnetic substances on homogeneity of magnetic field and quality of magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS). Methods Scanned the MRS dedicated phantom with contrast medium or coins, then evaluated the quality of spectrum. Results The quality of magnetic resonance spectroscopy obtained under the condition of contrast medium or coins was apparently decreased compared with the normal. Conclusion The results proved that magnetic substances can lead to asymmetric magnetic field and affect the quality of MRS.
