Abstract:Objective To discuss the correlation between the expression of nm23-H1 protein and its CT results in nasopharyngeal carcinomas. Methods Through immunohistochemical streptavidin-perosidase, the nm23-H1 protein expression levels were studied in 62 cases of nasopharyngeal carcinomas, based on which analysis was made to discuss the correlation between CT expression and the protein levels. Results Nasopharyngeal carcinoma CT showed significant differences in nm23-H1 expressions in all groups (P<0.05) with invasion of various degrees. Conclusion A negative correlation was found between the nm23-H1 protein expression in nasopharyngeal carcinomas and the invasion degree of carcinomas tissues, that is, the higher the invasion degree, the lower the Nm23-H1 protein expression level. The correlation between them could be regarded as a sign of negative prognosis of nasopharyngeal carcinomas.
