Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical value of evidence-based nursing in the nursing of invasive ventilation. Methods Using invasive ventilator to cure patients (60 cases) with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and type II respiratory failure who received treatment in invasive ventilation during 2010~2012 in our hospital. The patients were divided into research group (30 cases) and control group (30 cases) by using random number table. Using routine nursing to nurse the control group and using evidence-based nursing to nurse the research group. Results There were significant differences in PaO2 and PaCO2 between research group and control group after treatment (P<0.05). PaO2 of the research group was (69.6 ± 4.2) mmHg and that of the control group was (63.5 ± 5.9) mmHg. PaCO2 of the research group was (46.7 ± 4.8) mmHg and that of the control group was (50.8 ± 3.5) mmHg. Conclusion Evidence-based nursing has better curative effect in the aspect of improving pulmonary function of patients than routine nursing, and is worthy of further promotion.
