Application of the HL7 Standard in Integration of HIS and PACS/RIS

摘要目的 在医院信息系统(HIS)与PACS/RIS(Picture Archiving and Communication System /Radiology Information System)中实施HL7医疗信息数据交换标准,解决系统间数据共享的问题,同时对HL7标准的优缺点进行分析讨论。方法 分析HL7消息格式,结合医院现有的HIS与PACS/RIS数据交换流程,设计基于HL7标准的HIS与PACS/RIS接口引擎,通过实际应用来分析HL7标准的优缺点。 结果 实现了HIS与PACS/RIS的集成,方便了医院各科室信息的统一管理与共享,提高了影像科的工作效率。结论 HL7标准可进行多应用系统间的文件和数据交换,使集成的系统可扩展性和可维护性大大提高,但仍存在一些规定含糊不清,有待进一步发展和完善。
Abstract:Objective The HL7 standard is executed in HIS (Hospital Information System) and PACS/RIS (Picture Archiving and Communication System /Radiology Information System) to solve the problem that the data could not be shared between the systems, and the advantages and disadvantages of the HL7 standard are discussed. Methods The HL7 message formats are discussed, combining with existed data exchanging processes of HIS and PACS/RIS in hospitals. And the HIS and PACS/RIS interface engine is designed based on the HL7 standard, and the advantages and disadvantages are analyzed by the practical application. Results The integration of HIS and PACS/RIS is realized by design of the HL7 interface engine, improving the workflow of the department of radiology, and facilitating unified management and sharing of information among all departments in hospitals. Conclusion The HL7 standard could meet the demand about the documents and data exchanging among multiple applications, and scalability and maintainability of the integrated system are greatly improved. But further development are still needed.
