Abstract:Objective To discuss the clinical effects of combination of AFP (Alpha-fetoprotein), ultrasound and MSCT (Multi-Slice Computerized Tomography) in diagnosing the postoperative recurrence of liver cancers. Methods Comparative analysis was made among examination results obtained by AFP measurement, color ultrasound and MSCT enhanced scanning respectively in 46 liver cancers with postoperative recurrence. Results Among 46 postoperatively-recurred liver cancers, 37 cases showed increased AFP values with detection of recurred lesions according to ultrasound or MSCT scanning results; whereas the decreased AFP values and recurred lesions examined with ultrasound or MSCT were found in 9 cases. Conclusion The combination of AFP, ultrasound and MSCT enhanced scanning contributes to prompt detection of recurred lesions for liver cancers, thereby efficaciously improving the therapeutic effects.
