Abstract:Objective To explore the ultrasonographic features of unhealthily-healed uterine incisions after cesarean sections. Methods Retrospective analysis was made in 60 cases of unhealthily-healed uterine incisions which were treated from January 2012 to May 2013 after cesarean sections. Results The unhealthy conditions of uterine incisions healing in 60 patients were classified into three types according to the ultrasonographic characteristics they were revealed: the non-homogeneous parenchymal type, the mixed type and the cystoid type. Conclusion Ultrasound can be deployed as an accurate diagnostic method to identify the unhealthily-healed conditions of uterine incisions for women who were performed with cesarean sections, which has provided a significant reference for clinical treatment.
