Abstract:Objective Based on the American College of Radiology (ACR) standard, the feasibility study of MRI automatic quality
control system on the detection of slice thickness and geometric accuracy was discussed. Methods The ACR phantom was used to
detect the slice thickness and geometric accuracy of the image of the GE 750 w 3.0 T magnetic resonance device through manual
and automatic measurement methods. The image slice thickness measurement was performed on the first slice, and the geometric
accuracy was performed on the fifth slice. Results The automatic and manual slice thickness measurement values of the equipment
were (4.99±0.04)mm and (5.24±0.23) mm, and the accuracy was (99.20±0.39)% and (94.66±3.93)%, respectively. The automatic
and manual measurement values of the longitudinal of the phantom were (147.54±0.26) mm and (147.45±0.32)mm, and the
accuracy was (99.69±0.17)% and (99.57±0.22)% respectively丨 The automatic and manual measurement values of R/L diameters of
the phantom were (190.04±0.18) mm, (190.05±0.65) mm, the accuracy was (99.92±0.06)%, (99.74±0.22)%丨 the automatic and
manual measurement values of the phantom’s A/P diameter were (190.20±0.36) mm, (190.26±0.89) mm, and the accuracy was
(99.84±0.13)%, (99.58±0.24)%. Conclusion MRI automatic quality evaluation system can be used for MRI quality control, and
this method is better than manual processing.
