Abstract:Spiral CT liver multi-phase enhancement scanning is an important technique for the detection and diagnosis of intrahepatic lesions. In this paper, it presents different technical schemes and reference values of contrastive enhancement in Empirical-method,
Threshold Triggering method and Low-dose test method. Besides, a variety of patient-related and injection-related factors influence the magnitude and timing of hepatic artery contrast enhancement. Although these factors are inter-related, some (body weight,
contrast volume and iodine concentration, saline irrigation) have great influence on the strength enhancement, whereas others (cardiac output, contrast agent injection duration, contrast injection rate) have great influence on the enhanced time pattern. Meanwhile, the contrast-enhanced technique for optimal scanning of hepatic arteries may vary depending on the patients and the target of the clinical imaging application. Radiologists and technicians should understand the advantages and disadvantages of various technologies and common parameters, and the influencing factors of contrast enhancement, and pay attention to the matching of the parameters of CT scan and contrast agent application, which is conducive to the rational debugging of the contrast enhancement technology scheme, and can give full play to the advantages of spiral CT liver contrast enhancement technology to benefit the patients. Therefore, this review provides a reference for clinical research.
