Abstract:Miniature axial flow pumps are widely used in medical auxiliary blood supply, but most of them are models of constant
flow blood supply, and there is no research on axial flow pumps providing pulsatile assistance. In this paper, the feasibility of the axial
blood pump in providing pulsatile blood flow was studied by establishing experimental models, controlling the feedback system, and
monitoring the system pressure and flow in real time by pressure sensors and flow sensors. The results showed that the axial flow
pump can better achieve the perfusion effect of pulsatile blood flow, the pressure curve is close to the natural pulsation curve, the flow
rate meets the perfusion demand, and verified preliminarily the hemolytic performance of the blood pump of this method.
