Influence of Calibration on Testing Results of Mixed and Dead Volume Reagents of Electrochemical Luminescence

Abstract：Objective To explore the influence of calibration on testing results of mixed and dead volume reagents of Roche electrochemical luminescence. Methods To test PCT values of quality control materials and patients (20 cases) with mixed and dead volume reagents before and after calibration. Then the testing results before and after calibration were compared according to the testing results of a box of new reagent. Results There were significant differences between the testing results before and after calibration (P<0.05), which showed that the testing precision of mixed and dead volume reagents after calibration was higher than that of mixed and dead volume reagents before calibration. Conclusion The mixed and dead volume reagents of Roche electrochemical luminescence should be calibrated and then can be used in clinic.
