Abstract:Objective Based on the statistical results of the fault data of multi-parameter ECG monitor, this study deeply analyzed the
safety risk factors that influenced the use of the monitor. Risk control was to strengthen the monitor safety management to provide
evidence basis. Methods A total of 562 monitoring instruments of 40 clinical departments of our hospital were monitored for one
year, the fault information of the monitor was recorded from July 2017 to July 2018. The records of 414 cases of fault data were
classified and analyzed. Results The statistical analysis of data samples showed that the main factors affecting the failure of the
monitor were the breakage of the conductance line, the failure of the oxygen probe and the blood pressure measurement. Conclusion
Through the analysis of the fault types, finding the monitor unsafe factors in the process of use, identifying the cause of failure risk,
establishing risk control measures, strengthening the security maintenance and use management of the monitor, reducing the potential
safety hazard in the process of using such equipment, the occurrence of adverse events and the risk of the use of the equipment can
be reduced.
