Abstract:Objective In order to control the quality of each link of the whole life cycle of medical equipment and smoothly implement
the whole process management of medical equipment and reduce various uncertainties and risks, a quality control system for the
whole life cycle of medical equipment through a modern information management platform was established. Methods The whole
life cycle of medical equipment were divided into six links: procurement, acceptance, use, maintenance, evaluation and disposal.
The evaluate project and quantitative standards was formulated for each part, and the information management system was used to
realize the information management of quality control of its quality control. Results The whole life cycle quality control system of
medical equipment, which was based on information management platform, could effectively improve the safety and effectiveness of
medical equipment use. Conclusion The establishment of the whole life cycle quality control system of medical equipment based on
information management platform is an important means to implement the whole process management of medical equipment, as well
as an important link for medical institutions to control medical risks.
