Abstract:Objective To study the diagnostic value of breast imaging reporting and data system-ultrasound (BI-RADS-US) in
diagnosis of breast ductal intraepithelial neoplasia (DIN). Methods A total of 200 patients with suspected breast DIN were selected
from January 2015 to June 2018, and examined by chest X-ray and breast ultrasound. The characteristics of ultrasound images were
evaluated by BI-RADS-US. The diagnostic effects of chest X-ray and BI-RADS-US on breast DIN were compared with the results of
pathological diagnosis. Results The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of BI-RADS-US in the diagnosis of breast DIN were higher
than those of chest X-ray (P<0.05), and the diagnostic coincidence rate of BI-RADS-US for different types of breast lesions was
higher than that of chest X-ray (P<0.05). The diagnostic results were in good agreement with those of surgical pathological diagnosis.
Conclusion Breast ultrasound imaging report and data system can effectively improve the diagnostic accuracy of breast ductal
epithelial neoplasia.
