Abstract:Objective To design a centralized dialysate supply system that meets the standard and clinical requirements, and improve
the quality of dialysis treatment. Methods Following the technical details of the national and industrial standards, the centralized
dialysate supply system was designed according to the actual situation of our hospital. We formulated procedures, norms, emergency
plans, maintenance of the centralized dialysate supply system to ensure the stable supply of the centralized dialysate supply system
and the safe use of dialysate during treatment with the cooperation of doctors, nurses, engineers and workers. Results The centralized
dialysate supply system was installed successfully and used stably for 4 years in our hemodialysis room. The microorganism,
endotoxin, and biochemistry parameters were monitored systematically. Compared with the traditional barreled fluid supply
model, the centralized fluid supply system were more convenient for nurses, more stable, and more safe for patients. Conclusion
The standard use of the centralized dialysate supply system has reduced the cost, made the operation convenient, stabilized the
hemodialysis machine and improved the curative effect, which represents the direction of the industry development.
