Abstract:Objective To discuss the method of diagnosing human breast cancer and colon cancer using 340 nm native fluorescence imaging triggered by 300 nm light. Methods Autofluorescence imaging was performed on 21 samples of human breast and colon tissues under the same experimental conditions. The intensity of neoplastic, normal, fat, and blood vessel tissues was measured and compared. Results The results indicated that the intensity of the autofluorescence of tumor tissue was typically higher, and the intensity of fat and blood vessel tissue was lower than that of normal tissue. Conclusion Different intensity of native fluorescence of tissues was tested in breasts and colons, which can be used as auxiliary diagnosis.
