Abstract:Objective To explore the application value of low-dose CT scanning technique in the examination of cerebral hemorrhage. Methods 40 patients with cerebral hemorrhage were scanned by low-dose CT. Then the image quality was evaluated and volume CT dose index (CTDIvol) was compared with that of traditional scan. Results The images obtained by low-dose technique were clear without artifacts, and the contrast and resolution ratios were high enough to meet the diagnostic requirements. The average CTDIvol of 40 patients was 37.25 mGy, which lowered about 19.1% than the 46.08 mGy of traditional scan. Conclusion Low-dose CT scanning technique which can reduce the radiation dose of patients enjoys a good application prospect.
