Abstract:Objective To evaluate the value of transperineal ultrasonography in the evaluation of female pelvic floor structure and
function. Methods A total of 185 cases of primipara (89 cases of vaginal delivery, 96 cases of cesarean section delivery) and 80
cases of healthy women (control group) who received pelvic floor ultrasound examination in our hospital from January 2015 to
January 2018 were selected as the research objects. All subjects were examined by perineal pelvic floor ultrasonography. The effects of
different delivery methods on pelvic floor structure and function were studied by measuring the parameters of pelvic floor structure. The
significance of ultrasonographic evaluation of female pelvic floor structure and function was also studied. Results The thickness of bladder
detrusor, the posterior corner of urethra, the mobility of bladder neck, the area of levator ani fissure and the perimeter of levator ani fissure in
vaginal delivery group and cesarean section group were significantly higher than those in control group. In addition, the thickness of bladder
detrusor, posterior urethral and bladder Angle, mobility of bladder neck, area of levator ANI cleft, and circumference of levator ANI cleft
were significantly lower in the cesarean section group than in the transvaginal delivery group (P<0.05). There were 31 cases of stress urinary
incontinence after vaginal delivery, 28 cases were cured after rehabilitation treatment, the cure rate was 90.32%; 25 cases of stress urinary
incontinence after cesarean section, 23 cases were cured after rehabilitation treatment, and the cure rate was 92.00%. The thickness of
bladder detrusor, the posterior corner of urethra, the mobility of bladder neck, the area of levator ani hiatus and the circumference of levator
ani hiatus in parturient women and cesarean section were significantly lower than those before treatment. In addition, there were no
significant differences in the thickness of bladder detrusor, posterior urethral and bladder Angle, mobility of bladder neck, hole area of
levator ANI, and hole circumference of levator ANI between the vaginal delivery group and the cesarean section group after treatment
(P>0.05). Conclusion The parameters related to female pelvic floor structure can be quantitatively evaluated by transperineal
ultrasound imaging technology. It is clear that different delivery modes can influence the structure and function of female pelvic
floor to a certain extent. The parameter analysis shows that the damage of pelvic floor structure and function caused by transvaginal
delivery is more significant, and can be basically cured by pelvic floor rehabilitation therapy.
