Development of A Protective Transport Syringe for Labelled Radiopharmaceuticals

Abstract:This paper introduced the development process of a protective transport syringe which was composed of various structures including protective cover of syringe, protective cap of needle head and reinforced structures for labelled radiopharmaceuticals. The labelled radiopharmaceuticals can be shielded with the application of the syringe, which can reduce the radiation dose of nuclear medicine staff during the transportation and use processes of labelled radiopharmaceuticals. Thus the syringe will play an important role in protecting the occupational health of nuclear medicine staff.
