Abstract:As the preferred method of examination of cerebral palsy, MRI plays an important role in its diagnosis, rehabilitation and prognosis. This paper focuses on the application and development of MRI in diagnosis of cerebral palsy, and analyzes the differences and respective advantages of different MRI examination methods, such as diffusion tensor imaging (DTI), spectroscopy, functional brain imaging and voxel-based morphometry. Finally, this paper points out that regular MRI combining with special applications can be applied to analyze the condition of children with cerebral palsy, from aspects of morphology, fiber bundles, metabolism, information processing, and the volume of the brain gray matter.
