Abstract:Objective In order to realize remote operation teaching and observation learning, a digital surgical demonstration and
teaching system was developed based on digital operating rooms. Methods The video signal was collected by Stryker server, audio
signal was collected by YAMAHA interactive terminals. The audio encoder and video encoder processed audio and video signal,
which was then transferred to digital surgical demonstration and teaching system. Results Digital surgical demonstration and
teaching system transmitted the bi-directional audio/video information in 16 operation rooms and 3 teaching rooms. Conclusion
Digital operation teaching and observation system is helpful to improve the clinical teaching level, carry out telemedicine and video
academic conference, and maintain good medical order.
