Development of Quick Detector for Hearing Loss and Sound Conditioning

Abstract:Objective To develop a portable and quick detector for noise-induced hearing loss and sound conditioning which is
suitable for airman and ground crew. Methods In the present research, the Mini2440 with ARM920T core was used as a main control
board, and the UCOS minimum embedded system was used as multitask scheduler. Meanwhile, by using ADS software, the detector
could write the development board program, generate the noise acquisition signal and test signal, and automatically complete the
automatic hearing damage detection. Results The system could produce audio signals of stable frequency and intensity according
to Diagnosis of occupational noise-induced deafness (GBZ49-2014), and realize automatic screening of hearing damage and the
function of noise acquisition in a certain background. Conclusion The detector works well and has the characteristics of good
stability, strong expansibility and friendly interface.
