Abstract:Objective To explore how to detect and evaluate the state of Siemens AG medical diagnostic MRI equipment. Methods
According to international standards and relevant industry standards in China, the performance of Siemens AG magnetic resonance
imaging equipment was examined and evaluated by using the Victoreen 76-908 phantom. The detection indexes included image
uniformity, geometric distortion rate, layer thickness (deviation), spatial linearity or high contrast spatial resolution, aspect ratio and
signal to noise ratio. Results The study results showed that the performance of Siemens AG magnetic resonance imaging equipment
in our hospital was good, and all the indexes were in accordance with the relevant standards. Image uniformity, geometric distortion
rate, thickness deviation, high contrast spatial resolution, aspect ratio, signal to noise ratio were 100%, 96.9%, 96.9%, 97%, 96.9%
and 100%, respectively. Conclusion The detection indexes of Siemens AG magnetic resonance imaging equipment in our hospital
are in accordance with the relevant standards, and the device can be applicated for clinical use in 2017.
