Abstract:Objective To explore the correlation between pulse wave transit time (PWTT) and systolic blood pressure (SBP) in
outpatients. Methods The pulse wave data of 3280 outpatients were collected. Multiple linear regression was established by the
independent variable, which might influence the systolic blood pressure (SBP). 252 cases of outpatients were collected for predictive
analysis. Results ① The multiple linear regression was fit well and the correlation was significant (R=0.663, F=425.875, P<0.05);
② There was significant correlation between PWTT and SBP (P<0.05); ③ There were 82 patients in 252 of whose predicted value
and the measured value error<5 mmHg, which accounted for 32.54%; the predicted value and the measured value error<10 mmHg
was detected in 151 patients, which accounted for 59.92%. Conclusion There was a good correlation between PWTT and SBP. It is
possible to predict the early prediction of blood pressure via the correlation between PWTT and SBP, but accurate prediction is still
need to be studied.
