Abstract:Objective To realize the newborn vital signs monitoring and safety management in hospital
period by applying the neonatal heathy monitoring and security system based on the Internet of Things.
Methods Using the "mobile + health" integrated service model, applying the wireless network, RFID
and other technologies to build the health monitoring and security system, and combing with the actual
nursing work, the application skills and precautions were summarized. Results This system could
monitor the vital signs of the newborn, prevent the baby from being stolen completely, and reduce the
medical errors and decrease the workload of the medical staff. Conclusion The system will improve the
maternal experience, enhance the health monitoring and safety quality of newborn in hospital period, and
increase the efficiency of medical services, which will create good social benefit and economic profit for
hospital.
