Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical value of standard inspection via color Doppler
ultrasonography in the prenatal diagnosis of fetal malformation. Methods Sixthousandandone
pregnant women (2987 cases at pregnant period of 11~14 weeks, the other 3014 cases at that of 20~24
weeks) from January 2015 to June 2016 in our hospital were selected to conduct standard examination by
color Doppler ultrasonography, then the characteristics of fetal malformation and abnormal distribution
with detection were compared and analyzed. Results Eightytwo
cases of fetal malformation or
abnormity were detected. Among them, 33 of 2987 cases at 11~14 weeks gestation period were detected
deformity or abnormal, including abnormal Nuchal Translucency (NT) or neck hygroma in 16 cases
(19.5%), central nervous system abnormalities in 5 cases (6.1%); 39 of 3014 cases at 10~24 weeks
gestation period were detected deformity or abnormal, including cardiovascular system abnormalities
in 17 cases (20.7%), fetus surface malformation in 10 cases (12.2%); there were 10 cases of missed
diagnosis consisting of ventricular septal defect in 3 cases, finger (toe) abnormalities in 4 cases as well as
ear abnormalities in 3 cases. The detection rate of fetal malformation through prenatal ultrasonography
was 87.8%, which was of no obvious statistically difference with follow-up data of confirmed deformity
after induced labor or delivery (P>0.05). Conclusion As a main detection method for prenatal diagnosis
of fetal malformation, standardized examination by color Doppler ultrasonography had important clinical
significance; the screening efficiency for fetal malformation could be improved if check accordingly at
different gestational periods, which was worthy of popularization and application.
