Abstract:With the development of basic science, the imaging medicine which is based on the
basic subject have gained constant progress over the past several years. The imaging medicine had
received great changes in the imaging way and imaging target, which has developed from the classic
morphological diagnosis to the combination of form and function nowadays, from macro to micro, and
from the tissues and organs to the cellular and molecular level. The molecular imaging arises at the
historic moment and it is gradually becoming a mainstream technology. Molecular imaging is a frontal
subject which intercross and fusion of cell biology, molecular biology, pharmaceutical chemistry and
image technology. It can show lesions from the cellular and molecular level, and is a kind of specificity,
new living imaging method. Molecular imaging can help us to understand the occurrence, development
of diseases, which can reduce invasive examinations. In addition, it can detect the diseases at their early
stages, identify the qualitative evaluation and treatment, which can help to improve the level of early
diagnosis and treatment, thereby improving the prognosis of diseases. In this paper, we stated the research
on the status and problems of MR molecular imaging.
