Abstract:Objective To explore the application differences between B-ultrasonic and X-ray positioning technologies in extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy. Methods 7820 patients with urolithiasis in recently 7 years were detected by the two positioning technologies. The basic medical theory, diagnostic accuracy, the safety of treatment and hazards to human health of the two positioning technologies were compared. Result There were differences on the detection rate of calculi, diagnostic accuracy, treatment safety and gravel usage between B-ultrasonic and X-ray positioning technologies. There were significant differences on calculi detection rate and gravel usage between the two positioning technologies (P<0.05). Conclusion B-ultrasonic positioning technology which has obvious advantages in many ways comparing to X-ray positioning technology should be paid more attention to.
