Research Progress of Dose Control for Dental Panoramic X-Ray Machine

Abstract:Dental panoramic X-ray machine has become one kind of the most important devices for dental diagnosis and treatment. Radiological safety of the device has drawn extensive attention. This paper reviewed current dose control situation of the device in domestic and overseas in aspects of devices and methods for dose control as well as diagnostic reference standard. The importance of establishing diagnostic reference standard suitable for China to protect patients and impove utilization efficiency of the device was also explicated in this paper.
