Abstract:Objective To design a control circuit for the portable endoscope video system. Methods The control circuit which can collect images through MT9P301 imaging sensor was designed with TMS320DM368 processor as its main controller and embedded Linux as its operating system. Then the collected images would be displayed on LCD through video input circuit, video output circuit, memory circuit, key display circuit, LED lighting circuit, WIFI circuit and then would be displayed synchronously in HDTV through WIFI. The video system whose power supply was a lithium battery can be powered through electric supply or solar energy. Results Clinical tests proved that various functions including image shoot, image resizing, image storage and image transmission of endoscope video system can be implemented with the control circuit. Conclusion The circuit with stable performance, low power dissipation and long battery life can meet the using requirements of the portable endoscopic video system.
