Abstract:Aortic arch disease is a group of cardiovascular diseases that seriously threaten human life and health, including aortic
dissection, aortic aneurysm, transmural ulcer, intramural hematoma, etc.. The treatment of such diseases has been a challenge of clinical.
With the proposal of endovascular therapy and the development of medical devices represented by branched stents, the difficulty
of treating aortic arch diseases has been decreased. This article reviewed the development of the treatment of aortic arch disease,
summarized the current status of the treatment of aortic arch disease, and prospected the treatment prospect of aortic arch disease.
This paper expounded the structural characteristics and application status of different branched stents, analyzed the advantages and
disadvantages of various branched stents, summarized and explored the future development direction of branched stents. The study
aimed to help clinicians understand the current development status of branched stents and grasp the future treatment direction of aortic
arch disease. Meanwhile, the latest research progress of modular inner branched stent graft and 4D printed shape memory polymer
scaffolds was introduced, which aimed to provide a reference for the development of the next generation of novel branched stents.
