Examination Process Based on Diagnosis Needs

Abstract:Objective To reduce the waiting time for preoperative cardiac ultrasound examination and shorten the length
of hospital stay of orthopedic inpatients, so as to provide better medical services for patients. Methods Through the
investigation and analysis of the needs of ultrasound physician, the disease situation of orthopedic inpatients and the
indicators of medical service quality, the preoperative cardiac ultrasound grading examination process was designed and
carried out. Results The application results showed that the average waiting time for cardiac ultrasound examination of
orthopedic inpatients was reduced from (1.82±0.65) d to (1.12±0.54) d, and the average length of hospital stay was reduced from
(5.52±1.19) d to (4.92±1.31) d. Conclusion Cardiac ultrasound grading examination can effectively improve work efficiency and
significantly shorten the preoperative waiting time of patients. The exploration and practice of ultrasound grading examination will
help to solve the problems of large workload of ultrasound doctors and long waiting time of patients in the ultrasound diagnosis.
