Case Study on Component Maintenance of GE Innova 2100 Digital Subtraction Angiography System

Abstract:With the development of minimally invasive technology in medical intervention, GE Innova 2100 digital subtraction
angiography (DSA) machine is widely used in large and medium-sized hospitals, and faults occur more and more gradually frequent.
Based on the maintenance summary of the equipment for many years, this paper analyzed the self-service cases of vulnerable and
expensive parts (collimator), failure to use the self-check after power on, and black edge of the image. Without the technical manual,
we dissected and drew the principle structure diagram of the components, analyzed the self-check process of the equipment, and
combined with the status records of the equipment in normal use, and adopted the maintenance method of replacing large components
with spare parts. The equipment availability rate was improved and the operation cost was significantly reduced. From the perspective
of self-service maintenance methods, maintenance ideas, spare vulnerable components, it can quickly solve the problem, and provides
reference for colleagues.
