Application Value of Color Doppler Ultrasound in Diagnosing Early Breast Cancer

Abstract:Objective To explore the value of color Doppler ultrasound in diagnosing early breast cancer. Methods 4794 female patients who would undergo breast cancer screening in our hospital from May 2011 to May 2012 were examined by color Doppler ultrasound to observe the lesion shapes and determine whether capsules existed in the lesions as well as whether lymph nodes located in the boundary and ipsilateral axillary of lesions were swelling. Results 15 cases were diagnosed as suspected breast cancer among all the 4794 cases. 11 cases with suspected breast cancer had underwent surgeries and then were confirmed as breast cancer by postoperative pathological results. Conclusion Compared with other traditional methods, color Doppler ultrasound which has a great advantage in detecting small lumps of mammary gland and diagnosing benign and malignant of lumps can be choosed as the preferred examination method for early diagnosis of breast cancer.
