Abstract:Objective To investigate the application value of OmniPro I’mRT (OI)+RGB flatbed scanner
(FS) in the verification of helical tomotherapy (HT) plans. Methods 12 HT plans were randomly selected,
and GAFchromic EBT3 films placed in CheesePhantom were irradiated to obtain the coronal plane dose
distribution. Then the γ analysis was used in comparing and analyzing the verification effects of OI+FS
program and the tomo planning station (TomoPS) DQA analysis software+ Vidar film digitizer (VidarFD)
program. Results The average pass rate of TomoPS+VidarFD program was (97.32%±1.16%), while
that of OI+FS program was (96.40%±1.01 %), which indicated that the average pass rates of the two
programs were high. The Pearson correlation analysis results showed that the verification data of OI+FS
program was closely related to that of TomoPS+VidarFD program (r=0.919, P<0.05). Conclusion OmniPro
I ‘mRT analysis software combined with RGB flated scanner can be used as a method in verifying the HT
plans.
