Abstract:Objective With the development of medical wireless technology, the number of terminals supported by different
technical standards is increasing, the coexistence of multiple terminals is becoming more and more common. How to evaluate
the wireless coexistence performance of medical equipment under interference environment based on standard test scheme is
of great significance. Methods On the basis of ANSI 63.27-2017 standard, the laboratory test method of wireless coexistence
was studied. This paper introduced the key indicators of wireless coexistence testing. The layout and principle of typical
experimental modes, such as conduction test, multi-chamber test and radiation environment test were introduced. Different
testing methods were compared. Results Different testing methods had their own advantages and disadvantages. These
advantages and disadvantages should be considered when selecting testing methods according to specific equipment under test.
From the point of view of test repeatability, conduction test method had the strongest repeatability and radiation environment
test had the weakest repeatability. In terms of consistency with actual performance, the opposite was true. Conclusion
Generally speaking, the above tests are helpful to evaluate the wireless coexistence ability of medical equipment scientifically
and effectively, and to form a reasonable evaluation criterion for the wireless coexistence quality of medical equipment.
