Abstract:Magnetic resonance Elastography (MRE) is a novel, noninvasive imaging technique based on the elastic properties of
the different tissue. MRE is widely applied to many organs in the human body, especially in chronic liver disease. Because of the
complex tissue architecture of the brain. The technique has been slowly developed in the brain and it focused on health adult and
neurodegeneration. In addition, it has been applied in the brain tumor. Compared with the traditional MRI, it reflects the difference of
microstructure, higher sensitivity in detecting disease and analyzing component of lesion, therefore it has the broader prospects for
development.
