Abstract:Objective To strengthen the application quality control of automatic non-contact tonometer and to ensure the validity
and reliability of the test data. Methods Firstly, we set the reference values for the simulated eye under the modes of 30 mmHg
and 60 mmHg. Then, we measured the intraocular pressure for each simulated eye, and performed instrument calibration,
data verification and test data analysis. Lastly, we proposed several strategies based on our management experience. Results
Periodic calibration was beneficial for improving the accuracy of automatic non-contact tonometer. The joint management of
multi-departments was helpful to improve the applied quality of automatic non-contact tonometer. Conclusion The measures
play a positive role in promoting the quality and effi ciency of automatic non-contact tonometer, which improves medical safety.
