Abstract:Objective In order to standardize the management of digestive endoscopy leak detection by means of informationization, so
as to reduce the incidence of serious faults, improve the equipment integrity rate and reduce the maintenance cost. Methods The failure
grade, cause, maintenance cost and duration of 74 endoscopes in the gastroenterology department from 2013 to 2016 were analyzed. As
a result, the leakage and immersion were found to be the main causes of serious and general failures. Then the change of the incidence
rate of serious and general faults was studied by strengthening the standard leak detection. Results Three months after the establishment
of the standard leak detection scheme, the serious failure rate of the endoscope decreased significantly, and no serious grade A and
grade C failures occurred. Meanwhile, the maintenance time and cost decreased significantly compared with the same period last year.
Conclusion The detection rate and the detection rate of early water leakage can be improved obviously by means of informatization.
The failure rate of the endoscope will be improved by reducing serious leakage and immersion. Therefore, the efficiency of clinical
diagnosis and treatment has been improved, and the data obtained by the supervision has a wider development and utilization space.
