Abstract:Objective In order to improve transfusion conditions in cold battlefield and reduce adverse reactions, a portable automatic
heating and temperature control device was designed. Methods Considering the unstable power supply, we chose fast charging
battery as power supply. According to the requirements of battlefield mobility, the requirements of small size, light weight, easy to
wear and simple operation were determined. According to the bad and changeable battlefield environment, it was determined that
the heating response speed should be fast, the temperature could be controlled automatically, and it had the function requirements
of high temperature power cut protection and acoustooptic alarm. The medicine liquid temperature at the medicine outlet reached
quickly and kept steady at the target value with the embedded micro controller LPC1788 as the core, using the temperature of liquid
outlet temperature sensor real-time monitoring, using pulse width modulation technique to achieve continuous dynamic adjustment
of heating power, and all of the above forming a closed-loop feedback. Results The weight of the whole set was about 200 g, and
the volume was about 300 cm3. Under the condition of ambient temperature of 15℃, and the infusion speed of 80 gtt/min, the device
could heat the liquid at the outlet to 34℃ within 4 minutes. Conclusion The automatic heating temperature control device has
reasonable structure design, small and portable, quick heating response, safe and reliable operation, especially suitable for the use of
cold water infusion in wartime battlefield environment.
