Abstract:In this paper, the penetration force method of single-use needles for human venous blood specimen collection was
studied in combination with clinical use. On the basis of the testing method including in GB15811-2016, we explored the effects of
penetration area and different penetration angles on the penetration force of single-use needles for human venousblood specimen
collection. The test results showed that the larger the simulated skin area was, the greater the penetration force. The smaller
penetration angles was, the greater the penetration force. By comparing the differences of the penetration force between the national
standards and the international standards, we discussed the evaluation methods that reflected the clinical use scientifically and
rationally, and provided some recommendations on clinical practice.
