Abstract:Objective To develop a economical and practical cloud platform of radiotherapy software. Methods First of all, a private
cloud platform which was based on OpenStack and leveraged the virtual GPU hardware was built. Then all the Elekta radiotherapy
softwares were installed to the virtual machine. Finally, the software on the cloud was accessed by NoMachine. Results The results
of detailed basic operation tests and data contrast tests showed that a cloud Monaco workstation was equivalent to an isolated
physical Monaco workstation. Conclusion The project not only improves the utilization rates of Elekta radiotherapy softwares, but
also provides the possibility for the comprehensive application of cloud computing technology in the field of radiation oncology.
