Abstract:Objective The purpose of this study was to improve the success rate of producing capillary
tube when micropipette puller was used as production tools. Methods The quality of capillary tube was
improved by adjusting the parameters of micropipette puller. And the diameter of capillary tube was
controlled by the constant diameter copper core. Results Through a lot of contrast tests, optimization
parameters such as heater level (70℃), magnet main (60 N) and deputy magnet (40 N) of micropipette
puller were found. The copper core that was with a diameter size of 0.375 mm to produce capillary tube
was suitable. Conclusion The method of this study could improve the success rate of producing capillary
tube. And the injection time was saved when using this method. So it is worthy of popularizing this
method in clinical application.
