Abstract:Objective To create a good environment of treatment, this study designed a variable frequency
control system based on the existing suspension bed, which was also energy consumption and noise reduction,
and was capable of setting different motor power to set appropriate levitation force in accordance with the
clinical needs. Methods Frequency converter was adopted to control motor operating frequency so as to
achieve energy saving, noise reduction and appropriate levitation force setting. Serial port control panel based
on RS485 transmission protocol was used to carry out human computer interaction. Results Energy saving
and noise reduction were achieved and levitation force could be adjusted according to the clinical treatment
plan. Conclusion Medical suspension bed based on frequency conversion control can significantly improve
the effect of adjuvant therapy as well as realize energysaving
and noise reduction. This design is low cost, safe
and stable with strong flexibility, which makes it applicable to most models of suspended bed.
