Abstract:Objective To discuss the application effect of quality control circle (QCC) in improving the
accuracy rate of emergency life-support class medical equipments' clock. Methods Set up a QCC team
and chose the accuracy rate of emergency life-support class medical equipments’ clock as the activity
theme, then investigated the situation of emergency life-support class medical equipments’ clock in our
hospital. Referring to requirements of emergency life-support class medical equipments specified in the
2012 version general hospital grade assessment standard, the atomic clock in the Chest Pain Center was
taken as the standard to analyze the inaccurate cause of emergency life-support class medical equipments’
clock and finally developed appropriate corrective measures for implementation. Results Eight months
later, accuracy rate of emergency life-support class medical equipments’ clock has been improved
from 83.1% to 99.1%. Conclusion QCC management approach ensures the accuracy rate, as well as
improves management quality of emergency life-support class medical equipments’ clock, is an effective
management method to the quality control of emergency life-support class medical equipment.
