Abstract:A new type of universal minimally invasive thoracic drainage tube was designed and studied,
which was made of polyurethane material and mainly composed of two parts, a drainage tube and a
minimally invasive drainage tube. 150 cases of pneumothorax patients were divided averagely into three
groups in this clinical study and treated with three drainage methods (closed thoracic drainage, central venous
catheter drainage and universal thoracic drainage tube drainage) respectively. The proportion of adverse
reactions in the drainage process was 24%, 14% and 4% respectively. Research results show that the general
type of minimally invasive thoracic drainage tube can significantly reduce adverse reactions in the process of
pleural drainage. And it was equipped with multiple features such as thin pipe diameter, minimal tissue
damage, convenient effusion drainage, universal back end of the outlet pipe, and the easy-to-operate
connecting method, which had good prospects for clinical application and popularization.
