Abstract:Objective To explore and develop a medical equipment management system running on WeChat platform based on
the problems existing in hospital medical equipment management. Methods Based on WeChat developer tools, the system was
developed and designed by using WXML, WXSS and JavaScript languages. Results The information management of equipment
fault reporting, accessory application, testing data recording, operation manual download and online video teaching were realized
by this system. According to the statistics of the data before and after the use of system, the results showed that the average value of
predictive accuracy rate of reported fault was increased from 70.59% to 87.50%, the average repair days of faulty equipment was
reduced from 4.52 days to 3.61 days, the average time for submitting accessory application was shortened from 20.0 min to 3.0 min, and
the average value of clinical service satisfaction was improved from 87.13% to 95.88%. Conclusion The application of this system
can effectively improve the efficiency of medical equipment management and clinical service satisfaction.
