Abstract:Objective To design a set of pure water conductivity measurement device for hard endoscope cleaning pool in operating
room to meet the requirements of conductivity measurement and data recording automation. Methods The design of this device was
based on the single-chip Arduino Nano main control module compiled on the Arduino IDE development environment, plus the clock
module, conductivity sensor as input, LCD display and printer as the output, water purification tube connected to the rigid endoscopic
cleaning pool in the operating room. Results The designed pure water conductivity measuring device of the rigid endoscopic
cleaning pool has been used in the operating room. After the device was installed, the time of conductivity measurement was
significantly shortened (P<0.05), reflecting the automation and innovation of the new method. Conclusion Water quality directly
affects the effect of instrument cleaning. The device designed to measure the conductivity of pure water in the rigid endoscopic
cleaning pool can constantly detect water quality, prevent water pollution in advance, and provide guarantee for the safe clinical use
of sterile instruments.
