Abstract:Objective To develop a multi-function orthopedic rehabilitation therapeutic machine with Chinese medicine
fumigation, waist and back massage, and straight leg lift function exercise. Methods The multi-functional orthopedic
rehabilitation comprehensive treatment machine was mainly composed of bed body, fumigation device, straight leg raising
training device, waist and back massage device and control device. Advanced artificial intelligence regulation algorithm and
pulse width modulation (PWM) technology were adopted to realize precise control of temperature and resistance,
respectively. Results The developed prototype was compact in structure and convenient in use, with temperature control precision
up to ±0.5℃, training resistance control accuracy of ±1 N, and timing precision of ±1 s. The rolling wheel of waist and back
could be used to massage along physiological curve of body spine. Conclusion The product saves the treatment time of the patients
and saves the space occupied by the equipment, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
