Abstract:Objective To improve the convenience of medical endoscope in clinical use, and to solve the problem that the image
processor and auxiliary system with traditional eyepiece endoscope are too large to move easily. Methods Based on the imaging
principle of CCD, the optical image from an endoscope eyepiece was converted into the digital signal. Digital signals were
transmitted to the TFT screen wirelessly or by wire, and restored the image in the eyepiece. Results We analyzed and explained the
entire system from the aspects of demand design, software and hardware development, and system testing. Finally, a portable
endoscope display system with photo and video functions was designed with image resolution of 1920×1080 and a display screen
of 5.6 inches, which met the technical requirements of endoscopic imaging. Conclusion This system is suitable for restricted
environments, such as emergency medical emergencies, limited power supply, and limited space. It was convenient for doctors
to go out for treatment, provide on-site services for patients, and can be also used for teaching demonstrations.
