Abstract:Objective To investigate the value of fetal echocardiography in the diagnosis of fetal pulmonary artery, left and right pulmonary
artery abnormalities. Methods The ultrasonographic manifestations of 110 fetuses with abnormal pulmonary artery and left and right pulmonary
artery branches confirmed in our hospital from January 2016 to June 2018 were retrospectively analyzed, and 65 cases of normal fetuses in
the same period were included as the reference group. The ultrasonic manifestations of the two groups were observed and the hemodynamic
parameters were compared. Results Of the 110 cases, 89 (complex group) had complicated cardiac malformation, and 21
(simple group) had simple pulmonary artery and left and right pulmonary artery branch abnormality. The ultrasonic data
showed that the rate of intraparardial and extraparardial malformation in the complex group (46/89, 51.68%) was higher
(P<0.05) than that in the simple group (6/21, 28.57%). The abnormal display rate of pulmonary artery and left and right
pulmonary artery branches in the ventricular outflow tract view (96/110, 87.2%) and the three-vessel view (103/110,
93.6%) were higher (P<0.05) than that in the four-chamber view (42/110, 38.2%). In terms of diagnostic rate and scanning
time, STIC imaging technology was superior to two-dimensional echocardiography (P<0.05). The PI and RI values of
LPA and RPA in fetuses with right ventricular outflow tract or pulmonary artery obstruction were lower than those in the
control group (P<0.05). Conclusion In the diagnosis of abnormal pulmonary artery and left and right pulmonary artery
branches of the fetus, the diagnostic accuracy of fetal echocardiography combined with color Doppler reverse tracing
technique and STIC imaging is higher .
